Adam & Ellen // Downtown Huntsville, Alabama Wedding

So much joy & energy surrounding this lovely day in downtown Huntsville, Alabama. Ellen has a smile & presence unlike anything I've ever seen & Adam was just beaming, soaking in all her excitement. I had a such blast with these two & their incredible friends!

Shout out to second shooting master, Zack Arp, for being the best partner on this day!

The Hollar's // Manhattan Beach Ice Cream Family Adventure

I'd be lying if I said family photos with a newborn & the highest energy 2.5 year old around was a breeze, but if you have kids, you already knew that! One thing is for sure...ice cream makes it a heck of a lot easier. Abby, Julian & gang were down to get messy so we walked around Manhattan Beach until all our ice cream had melted, our pants were sufficiently sprinkle covered, & the California sun was setting into the Pacific.

Enjoy this little afternoon session of one of my all time favorite families in life.

Will & Erika // Downtown Atlanta Restaurant & Dive Bar Wedding

Oh boy, do I love a good non-traditional wedding! Will & Erika created a wedding day that was uniquely special to their story together. They wed in their neighborhood church, had a candlelit dinner party in the cozy Italian restaurant where they had their first date, & then finished the night in an after party at their favorite dive bar where they also happened to end up on their first date!

It was an intimate & fun celebration that was so specifically special to them. They focused on their favorite things & let the rest of the weddingy details fall away. Love it!! <3

Will & Christie // Dunaway Gardens Atlanta Wedding

It was a lovely fall day in a sprawling garden just outside of Atlanta, 40 of the closest friends & family had traveled to witness a covenant promise.

Christie is feisty, insanely fun, & has a contagious joyful energy. Will is kind, calm, & has a steady peace about him. Together, they make quite the pair.

The setting was incredible, the celebration was one for the books. An all around win of a day.

PS. Shout out to second shooter, Myles Berrio for being a super fun partner for the day!!

Jason & Nat // Cozy At Home Session

There's a special place in my heart for Nat & Jason. From the minute we sat down for our consultation almost 3 year ago, we connected. We sat outside our local Starbucks for an entire afternoon laughing & talking about every random topic you can think of. Over the years, I've photographed their engagement, their wedding, & a few weeks ago, got to join them in their new home for some cozy just for fun photos.

We listened to Taylor, laughed, & had the best time. Gosh, I love them.

Jordan & Lauren // Skyline Loft Chicago Wedding

Lauren & Jordan's summer wedding in Chicago was one for the books. From the sprawling lawns of a suburb mansion, to the streets of Michigan Ave, to ending the evening in a loft overlooking the city skyline- it was incredible! Chicago is one of my favorite cities & shooting here was a dream.

Jordan & Lauren's deep appreciation for one another was so special to see & I had a blast dancing with their friends!

Thanks for letting me be a part of your day, you two! <3

Ps. Shout out to Shannon Smith Jackson for being an epic 2nd shooter & catching so many great moments throughout the day!

Cameron & Kelsey // Driftwood Beach Engagement

I'm gonna keep this one short & sweet.

I've known Cameron & Kelsey for years now, I've gotten to photograph them several times for various modeling situations (because they are so hott, duh), but getting to photograph them together for THEIR OWN engagements was a dream come true.

Ever since I found out about this driftwood beach about 3 years ago, I've wanted to shoot there, but knew I needed a couple who was down for anything (and for the 6 hour drive, eek!). When I pitched the idea to Kels & Cam, Kels shrieked with excitement & I knew we were in for a fun time.

On a rainy July day, we road tripped north, hiked a mile to the beach, & ran around like giddy children taking photos for hours. It was legitimately so much fun & worth every single mosquito bite that plagued my body for the next week and half. We shot until there wasn't a drop of light left in the sky & my camera would no longer focus which you will be able to very clearly tell by the end of blog. ;)

To say I am a million trillion percent obsessed with these photos is an understatement. And to say that I love Cameron & Kelsey with my whole heart is also an understatement.

Well I guess I didn't keep this short & sweet at all, but enjoy the photos, all thousand of them because narrowing it down was basically impossible. <3

Winston & Adrienne // Atlantic Center for the Arts Intimate Wedding

I sure love me some intimate weddings - Winston & Adrienne's was no exception. It was such a relaxed day & it truly felt like Adrienne & Winston were slowly soaking in each drop. They leisurely got ready with the help of their parents, then braved the rain for some portraits. The literal moment we stepped outside for the first look, the skies unleashed. With a little bit a sweet talking, we were able to convince an art gallery manager to open after hours so we could duck inside while it monsooned. This "Plan B" turned out to be the best thing we could have asked for- portraits in an art gallery are pretty much a giant YES for me.

My favorite moment of the day (& probably top five for weddings this year) was the holy space that came immediately after Adrienne & Winston were pronounced husband & wife. They both exited the chapel, tears streaming down their face & spent the next few minutes in this sacred atmosphere of emotion. I felt so honored to bear witness & I've choked up every single time I scroll through that portion of the images.

It truly was a special day with two incredibly tender, kind, warm & intentional people.

Winston & Adrienne, you are lovely.
