Tyler & Kate // Atlanta Whittier Mill & Chastain Horse Park Wedding

I have known Kate & her family for almost 14 years now. Her brother, Adam, was one of my very best friends in college & our friend group spent many weekends at the Newquist home soaking in all the home cooked meals & break from dorm life that we could get.

Fresh out of high school, I took Kate to get her nose pierced. She made me hand lettered Christmas presents & always had some amazing treat ready for us whenever we would visit. Forever the tenderest heart & best sarcastic sense of humor, I love this girl & it was a joy beyond words to be so present in her wedding day.

Blessings upon millions of blessings to my Tiny Kate & her Tyler, a truly good hearted man.

The Ferraro's // A Sunset Field Family Session

Man, I love photographing families. There is something so beautiful about the craziness, the unpredictability, the chaos. Without fail, the kids never do what you want them to. They rarely smile on command or stand in the perfect light. But they run through the grass laughing, roll in the dirt grinning ear to ear, kiss their sibling as they wrestle them to the ground & hug their dads neck as he swings them into the air. I’m not a parent, but if I were, that’s what I would want hanging on my walls anyways. I would want to see my family just as they are- not totally in line, but having fun while trying.

The Ferraro’s were incredible. They simply existed in this field, hanging out & trusting me to capture them just as they were- happy, content, & loving on one another.

Derrick & Erika // Atlanta Sweetwater Brewing Wedding

I’ll tell you what- it doesn’t get any more chill than Derrick & Erika. We hung out in a brewery, grabbing a lil beer anytime we’d walk passed a draft station. We danced around the rooftop at dusk, “cheers-ing” & taking in Erika’s contagious laughter & Derrick’s steady kindness. And when I asked Erika where Derrick’s wedding ring was she grinningly answered “ well probably on a UPS truck somewhere in Atlanta, maybe getting delivered by 5pm, but mayyyyybe not.” And that’s just pretty much how the day went- it felt like a Saturday with friends who also just happened to be getting married.

It was a joy being with them & their kind, bright spirits had me driving home with a giant smile on my face. I felt truly lucky to spend that day in celebration with them.

Nick & Lindsay // Casa Feliz Winter Park Wedding

Nick & Lindsay are carefree, kind, silly & true adventurers to their core. From the moment we met, I could feel their lightness. They approached the wedding day with such sincerity- letting the details fall where they may & truly living in the moments of celebrating their love.

Nick is a super talented photographer & it was really cool to see how he incorporated his skills into the day. He had various cameras by his side along the way, capturing moments from his perspective.

All in all, they are incredible people & I hope you enjoy.

Corey & Annie // Serenbe Georgia Wedding

I almost have no words for how perfect this was.

From the full of character getting ready houses, to the impeccable style of every little detail, to the sprawling fields & towering forest- & those are only the visuals.

More notably, Corey & Annie fully immersed themselves in the gravity of the day. The tender notes written, worshipping while exchanging vows, the intimacy of holding one another at dusk when we stole away to the horse field- they dwelled in each moment as it came.

It was an honor to bear witness to this beautiful union. I hope you feel it all as you scroll through their story.

David & Kiana // Rollins Chapel Winter Park Racquet Club Wedding

Kiana & David- some of the sweetest people around. Add in their next level fun family & friends & it was hard for the day to anything short of a blast. Plus any day that includes a sunset cruise is top notch in my book. I love the Rollins Chapel/ Winter Park Racquet Club combo for this very reason- so many pockets of good light & photo goodness!

Enjoy <3

Michael & Carlin // Winter Park Mead Garden Wedding

During our consultation, we sat on the back patio of a favorite local bar sharing happy hour IPA's. During the engagement shoot, we took a break for tequila shots & finished the night laughing over burgers. At every step of the way, our hangs lasted longer than the photos & pretty soon Michael & Carlin felt more like friends than clients.

I really couldn't ask for more amazing people to be around - they are intentional, kind, lovers of people & all around super quality humans.

Love ya'll forever. <3
