The Lail's // Cloudy Orlando Family Session

I always talk about how much I love photographing families- but what I love even more is the opportunity to photograph families overtime & document them as they grow. I first met the Lail’s a few years back in an at home newborn session for their first daughter. Here we are now, years later, with new additions & this time playing in a field, but still as cute as ever.

It had been raining all day- Corrie & I were texting back & forth trying to decide whether or not to reschedule. Ultimately, we went for it & I’m so glad we did. The drizzle stopped just as we were arriving & the clouds made for a cozy vibe. Wrangling the babies & convincing toddlers to smile is a near impossible feat, but we had fun trying & I love the realness of these images.

Adam & Olivia // Bramble Tree Estate Winter Wedding

Adam & Olivia could truly not be any sweeter. They approach each other with such a gentle tenderness that I so admire. The whole day they both seemed so peaceful & just genuinely grateful to be entering into life together. 

We took their portraits as the dusk rolled in. The serenity of the field perfectly matched the way they were with one another. It was such a beautiful day all around.

Matt & Bekah // South Florida Winter Wedding

This celebration went down at the epic Bellewood Plantation on probably the coldest night of December. It was a day full of happy tears & such sweet displays of emotion. The respect & admiration between these two was so tangible & such a joy to witness. I just adore them!

David & Tara // St. Augustine Engagement

I'm gonna keep this one short & sweet, because let's be honest, it's a few days before Christmas & no one has time to read more than a few sentences anyways..am I right? 

Last month, David, Tara & I ran around St. Augustine, one of my favorite Floridian cities. The weather was amazing & the wind was doing all the right & perfect things for Tara's hair. The chemistry between these two is off the charts & it was making my giddy how at home they are together.

It was an all around great time, I love these images, & I'm so so excited for their wedding in just a few weeks! EEK!

Landon & Alyson // Wedding

This wedding day started at the crack of dawn with groomsmen cooking breakfast as the rising sun peeked through the blinds & with bridesmaids dancing while popping bottles of champagne. There was so much energy & excitement in the air, it almost made me (a super non-morning person) forget it was 6am! Haha. When your ceremony starts at 11am, you have a lot of celebration to pack in before lunch & these two certainly didn't hold back! 

Landon & Alyson married in a sweet little chapel in the heart of Winter Park, FL surrounded by close family  & friends. Their intimate ceremony was followed by a quaint lunch with family & then continued onto a big party where they were joined by lots of friends to dance & celebrate into the evening! 

Thanks so much for asking me to join in on your big day & thanks for trusting me to wake up before the sun. ;) Love you two!

Tyler & Mary // Wedding

I know the holidays are well under way, but I wanted to sneak in one more blog post before all the Thanksgiving festivities start! Today I'm sharing some highlights from Tyler & Mary's October wedding in Port Orange, Florida. This was such a fun one to be apart of because Tyler & Mary are so chill & relaxed. Mary has a great sarcastic sense of humor & the most beautiful fiery hair! Tyler was so sweet & it was completely evident how excited he was to marry his lady.

Alex & Colleen // Engagement

Alex & Colleen are sweet, kind, & super in love. It was fun to spend a Sunday afternoon with them! When I asked what they loved to do together, her answer was simple, "we love walking around Park Ave with our pup, Lola & just soaking in the loveliness of the day." So that is exactly what we did. Alex, Colleen, Lola, & me- we walked around Winter Park & just soaked in the loveliness of the day. We were also soaked in sweat because it happened to be 100 degrees outside, but that's neither here nor there. ;) 

I'm so excited to celebrate & shoot these awesome people's wedding beginning of next year! 

Brent & Diana // Wedding

This sweet & intimate public park wedding was truly a special one. Brent & Diana are friends of mine & they both possess the most gentle & tender heart. 

There was so much anticipation & joy built around this day & it was so lovely to be there as a witness alongside their families & closest friends. Their vows were intentional, raw, & carried so much weight. I remember pausing behind the camera for a moment, taking a deep breath & thinking, "wow, these people get it." They weren't just repeating for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness & in health. They live it. They have lived it & will continue to choose into it everyday. Being there, I was overwhelmed by such a stunning picture of covenant. 

It was all so beautiful, so honoring, so significant. 

Brent & Diana, I pray many many blessings upon your new life together. Love you both.
